beauty surrounds us.

the photograph above is one that I took after a shoot I had with the duo of

Sound on Mars (soon to come). we wrapped up the shoot and sat a few feet away from this spot

and I just happened to look up at this location and couldn't stop staring. the light, the architecture,

and the palette were far to striking me for to just let pass by. therefore, i snapped a few pictures.

i did this with the photographs below as well, at another location we were shooting at.

i do this often, i just never share it. i think it's important that i do. these moments really

remind me of how beautiful, even though it sounds cliche', life can be. just the quiet

moments that literally cause things to come to a stop. the small things, the beautiful things,

the overlooked things. i sound lame, but i really mean it.

just stop and stare, life can surprise you.
